The Process of Raku Ceramics Workshop
with Josie Warshaw

This event has unfortunately been cancelled.

Experienced ceramicist Josie Warshaw will guide visitors through the process of the traditional art of raku ceramics in the beautiful yard at Kingsgate Workshops. Enjoy her explanation of this ancient process and how it applies to her work, whilst you decorate your own small bowl which will be fired before your eyes and ready to take home with you!

Ticket includes a glass of fizzy wine!

Please note due to the nature of raku, firing on the day is weather dependent. Guests will still be able to decorate their bowls and enjoy Josie’s insights come rain or shine, and arrangements can be made directly with Kingsgate to collect their finished piece once it has been fired. Refunds will not be given if the firing cannot go ahead on the day due to rain.
