What is Kingsgate Workshops?
Kingsgate Workshops is a multi-use art space housed within a labyrinthine Victorian factory, providing affordable workspace for an exciting mix of artists, makers and designers.
Last year we celebrated our 40th anniversary as a supportive host to designers, craftspeople, and artists.
This film by Anna Bowman celebrates our history.

Accessibility.
We have step-free access to our Yard area and the Project Space.
There is one step up to enter the main Kingsgate building from the yard, then 5 steps down. After that the ground floor of the building is step free. To access the 2 other floors we unfortunately have steep and ancient wooden stairs, with handrails.
