29th April - 2nd May 2020

Sonny Bailey Aird, the jeweller behind Rusty’s jewellery, invites visitors in for a tour of his new studio, which doubles up as his stylish showcase area for meeting clients. As he says -

“Traditional and lengthier techniques are prioritised over speed and convenience giving you a piece that is truly handmade, one of a kind, always”. In this session Sonny will demonstrate some of his traditional goldsmith techniques, explaining how and why he chooses to make pieces that are impossible to replicate and bear the clear marks of the tools that make them.
